LightBulb Lessons in Leadership w/Marine Veteran Dr. Abram Milton, Ph. D.

In this episode, T.O. builds on relevant aspects of Mental Health & Veterans with a very brilliant mind, Dr. Abram Milton, Ph.D. (MSgt, USMC Ret). Dr. Milton transitioned to work as a staff counselor at the University Counseling Services office at California State University – Northridge (CSUN) in October 2018. Within CSUN, Dr. Milton has continued to work with university students and has placed a special interest to work with military veterans, Muslim students, men of color, and international students. Dr. Milton also continues his research on Sleep Paralysis as a member of Social Psychiatry Research Unit at the University of California – San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla, CA, and his research on Free Arts and Trauma at Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA.Major psychological research interest include military, veterans, posttraumatic stress, traumatic brain injury (TBI), trauma, substance abuse, addictions, suicide, men issues, and university counseling.
